A Taste of Brazil

I just had lunch with the family at Brazeiros Brazilian Steakhouse. If you have a chance to check it out- I totally recommend you do so!

We have four children, and although the ambience seems very formal- it feels extremely welcoming. The wait staff is there 100% to make your dining experience the best and most pleasant.

The salad bar is the most gorgeous I've seen in awhile, the lettuce is actually beautiful. That's so bizarre to say, but the presentation is everything and you absolutely won't be disappointed with the variety.

The real treat is having the servers bring out the wonderful meat selection. Gauchos come over in succession with skewers of delicious meats and carve you off tender slices. I recommend the House special, my husband's personal favorite was the ribs. Even my 9 year old wanted to delay leaving until she got another serving of the filet minion. I also loved the fried bananas, and my 2 yr old devoured the garlic mashed potatoes.

Sorry my photo isn't pretty, but this was after the carnage of my feeding frenzy. Frankly, you're lucky I had anything left on my plate for a pic.

Good Eats

Recently had a lunch date with the hubs at The Other One deli in Grove Center. This burger was RIDICULOUS!! Lol. Two meat patties stuffed between BLT, the works and to top it all off- two grilled cheese sandwiches serve as the buns. Be hungry- VERY hungry when attempting to eat this 'burger.' Pair it with the sweet potato fries for a perfect combo. MMM! For the more reserved appetite, try the Vol burger. It was really yum!

I'm Baaaack!

Well Hello!! I'm back and blogging again. There are some new developments going on which I'll announce in future posts. For now, I'm just making sure I can still post to my account. I'm having some trouble with my other blog. So- I'm excited to be back and sharing our adventures living here in The Secret City!

Becoming a COUPON DIVA!!

I am on my way to becoming the next COUPON THANG!! Lol! Well, I can say that I am definitely learning. I am not yet to the point of devoting 60 hour a week on couponing like some of the big extreme couponers I've seen on TLC, but I am becoming a coupon disciple!

At Kroger's this week, they are having a their Buy 5 Participating Items & Get $5.00 off instantly at checkout.

I just got a huge deal on Frosted Flakes cereal on sale for $1.99, I got a coupon from Kellogg's for buy 2 and get $1 off, and I got Huggies Diapers for $7.99-$3.50 (coupons) = $4.49 each!!

Since I had 2 x $3.50 in coupons I actually only paid 99 cents for 2 jumbo bags of diapers!!

Krogers has Huggies diapers on sale for $7.99- but you have to remember the catch is that you have to buy 5 total participating items to get that price. I had coupons from before that expired today, but in today's Smart Source in the Sunday paper there is a $2 off Huggies Little Movers coupon, and $1.50 off the Pull-Ups!

This was my biggest savings so far- I saved almost half off my total bill! Getting a little more coupon saavy!!

Check out Southernsavers.com for the Kroger's ad for this week's specials and for great tips on getting started with couponing.
